The Midtown Booze & Book Club is the book club "for the rest of us". We aim to be a diverse group of readers who gather together for libations and lively discussion. Members post their own events for any indoor or outdoor activity they like. Adventures, movies, intellectual discussions, fun and games, dancing, you name it. … We have some interesting, intellectual discussions, but we also have fun just socializing. I originally started this group for sort of selfish reasons. I have a chronic "MS like" neurological illness (unfortunately no specific name tag, but not contagious) which limits how much I can be on my feet and carry things, and get out and go to other people's homes or locations, like a Starbucks etc..
