A Meetup Group for fans of The Partially Examined Life podcast! We'll listen to the podcast and continue the discussion together! You don't have to know any philosophy, or even to have read the text we're talking about to (mostly) follow and (hopefully) enjoy the discussion.

The group meets the last Wednesday of every month to discuss New Yorker essays and short stories. The PLUS is a pre-meeting, separate discussion of a book ( fiction or non-fiction ) chosen in advance by the group. A member may participate in The New Yorker meeting without joining the book discussion. All essays, short stories, and books are chosen at each meeting by the group. In some cases the group may decided to devote multiple sessions to a book.
